We had an awesome seminar with Dr.Schalliol and got to discuss his work in sociology. It was eye-opening, and he told his about his projects regarding buildings as symbols of change in various places. He also told us about his film, "The Area", a documentary film about a South Side Chicago neighborhood being demolished to make way for an intermodal freight yard. He also explained his job as a professor. All in all, sociology is fascinating!
